Last week I got to select plants for a culinary and medicinal herb garden I am designing, naturally I got carried away with the bromeliads and stacked crassulas… ended up blowing bulk cash on exotic perennials and prehistoric ferns in addition to an array of wonder herbs.

Today I am working on a report about bees, here is something beautiful and interesting I came across. Osmia Avosetta are a rare species of solitary bees. Singular petals are gathered from flowers and transformed into nests for a single bee egg. bee’s larva, which feasts on nectar and pollen deposited inside the chamber by its parent before the egg is laid and the nest is sealed.
