went to the big fellas at Melbourne Water today for uni, was THE FUTURE - crazy suction toilets and transparent security gates that move @ light speed. We had a meeting on rain gardens and water sensitive design, they’re imperative ideas to implement into urban areas but sheesh, water sensitive design can be right ugly and devoid of ++ sensory experiences at the Melbourne docklands - felt like I was strolling through an Orwell novel & not in a pleasant way

working as a gardener can be physically demanding but V meditative, 90% of my art ideas (and epiphanies) are formed while running my hands through the fleshy leaves

Last week I got to select plants for a culinary and medicinal herb garden I am designing, naturally I got carried away with the bromeliads and stacked crassulas… ended up blowing bulk cash on exotic perennials and prehistoric ferns in addition to an array of wonder herbs.

still living with 0 electricity and it proves to be alright (except when it’s -2 degrees). Past week has forced me to be super productive and physically attend uni lectures, I’ve been at my favourite cafe for several hours studying solidly… feels good to have highlighter markings on my fingers and papers smothered in sulfuric acid tales. so many blessings in disguises lately. how is everyone?
